Meet the trainer - Kelly

 

My love of health and fitness led me to University to complete a Physical Education degree, a Health degree and eventually several fitness certifications.  When I started working in the industry as a personal trainer and group instructor I loved helping people reach their fitness goals. Yet, something never felt completely right.  The fitness industry seemed to put too much emphasis on chiseled abs and less emphasis on the enjoyment, health benefits and the sheer empowerment exercise provides.  

At Victress Fitness, my goal is simple.  To keep you strong and help you get stronger. Physical strength translates to mental and emotional strength.  Yes, your body composition will change as you get stronger but when you shift your focus from exercising to achieve a particular look, to exercising to achieve a particular skill, you learn to love and appreciate your body in a whole other way.
